About me
Rochelle has been the librarian at Dennis Middle School since 2015, selected by her colleagues as Dennis Teacher of the Year in 2018. This year, she also travels to Fairview and Crestdale Elementary Schools, and serves as a supervising librarian at Hibberd. She has also worked at Charles and Garrison Elementary Schools and student taught at Vaile Elementary. Before moving to Richmond, she spent 10 years as a school librarian in Burlington, Wisconsin and 8 years as a public librarian and volunteer Emergency Medical Technician in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. She is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh with a BS in Human Services and UW-Milwaukee with a Master of Library and Information Science. She and her husband, Mike, live in Richmond with their 2 children, 1 dog, and 2 Alpine dairy goats. When not running around at her children’s events, she enjoys playing softball and volleyball, riding her bicycle, reading, singing and playing flute in church choir, and performing at Richmond Civic Theatre.
